Blue Heron
[wzslider autoplay=”true” height=”800″ lightbox=”true”]While travelling through Cheshire, CT I spotted this bird sitting on the side of a pond. I parked the car, grabbed my camera and took these three shots from the other side of the small pond. I believe this to be a Blue Heron. Camera Sony Nex 7, 55-210.

Reflections of fall
[wzslider height=”800″ lightbox=”true”] This is a shot of a fall leaf, (actually from a plant not a tree), on a black plexiglass base and background. The blue reflection you see is actually what the camera produced when the red/orange leaf reflected off the black. I did not use photoshop to change any colors

Local Farm – Cornwall, CT

While driving through the country
