While staying in Portland for a few days, with my wife Cheryl,  Twin Lights Lighthouse was on our list of must get shots.  It’s also known as Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse depending on who you talk to.

We were on a tiny peninsula.  As you face the lighthouse to take the photograph there was an inlet of water between the lighthouse and the rocks I was standing on. Then the Atlantic Ocean was to my right and back side.  The rocks had a unique striation to them.  If you saw them in person they almost looked like wood.

Everything you’d ever want to know about Twin Lights Lighthouse

All images photographed with Nikon D7100, Nikon 18-55 mm, varying apertures and speeds, ISO 100.
