This is an approximately 18″ lantern from my house. It had a candle inside which I removed.
The intent was to replicate a vintage phone booth. The top had been doctored and the words “PHONE” were added.
I set this shot up in a pitch dark studio light painting it by hand to life.
I used a Sony A7RM2, 42 mp, mirrorless camera with a Sony 24-105 F4 G OSS lens @ 42mm.
4 seconds, F8, ISO 50, MANUAL MODE, (1) hand torch.
