Another address on our list for Cheryl and I as we went barn hopping during a gorgeous spring afternoon in Roxbury CT. Home to only around 2300 residents, with little commercial development and a lot of farm land, this journey was a true pleasure.

I decided to take in all the beautiful stone work in the lot opposite this barn. I don’t know if that land belonged to the barn owner or not but I felt it enhanced the image. There is a town road that seperates the lot in the foreground from where the barn sits but it’s hidden behind the stone wall.

Photographed with a Sony A7RII 42.4 MP, full frame mirrorless camera and a Sony 24-105 F4 lens at 57mm.
1/160th, f16, ISO 1000, Aperture Priority.
