This was another Roxbury CT barn that Cheryl and I had on our list today. It was a beautiful day for a ride in the awesome Roxbury countryside.

This old barn has seen better days. Because I’m a barn nut I think it has a very nice look to it, at least from this angle. However the opposite side had large gaping holes, the floor is rotting out, the roof is leaking and it’s open to wild life. It’s just a matter of time for this old relic of days gone by but that’s what pictures are for right? The memories.

Photographed with Sony A7RII, 42.2 MP full frame, mirrorless camera and a Sony 24-105 F4 lens at 39 mm.

1/1000, f16, ISO 800, Aperture Priority
(I should have used ISO 100, apparently I wasn’t watching my settings close enough).
