Beautiful old working barn on University Dr., in Torrington CT. There was a woman on a garden tractor mowing the lawn just out of sight to the left.  She was near me on the road so I asked her permission to take the photograph and if she wouldn’t mind if I entered in about 25′ on the driveway to take the image. She had no problem with it but moments later a large, barking German Shepard headed straight for me at full speed.  I thought, this is it, this is the day I get bit by a dog for my art. (laughing)  By God’s grace he stopped about two feet shy of me and she was able to call him back.  All’s well that ends well.  Nice lady however, she directed me to another barn just up the street at Mount Pleasant Farm (which I also photographed and entered into the blog).
