I was barn hunting in Torrington and, on a whim, took a ride down University Dr., in hopes of finding some barns. Unless I researched ahead of time I always pick the roads that are out in the outskirts of town and in the country as much as possible. This road led me to this beautiful barn. I also found another beautiful barn with a gorgeous silo. I will post that separately.
After I got home I realized that this barn was part of a bed and breakfast Inn. The barn is rented out for weddings and such. The large open floor lens itself beautifully to dances. For more information go here: Mount Pleasant Inn
