This is a very attractive old barn whose silo’s peek out of the top right corner on Murdock Ave., in Meriden CT. Across the street sits a building that once housed the Greenbacker farm dairy store. As a kid in the 1960’s my parents would bring me here for delicious ice cream. It was always a treat to visit the diary store from Wallingford…..good memories!
This barn is situated directly across the street. The diary farm store is no longer in existence but the building still stands and has another business in it. I don’t know who currently owns this barn/farm but I suspect that it belonged to the Greenbackers back in the day.
