While barn hunting through the historic district of Simsbury CT, with my wife Cheryl, we came upon this huge beautiful barn to add to our collection.
I couldn’t find any data on this barn but I would guess it was built during the 1800’s and maintained nicely over the years. Due to it’s long, rectangular shape, I suspect it was a location for town meetings and public dances at one time. It’s hi, almost modern looking windows, set it apart from most barns of that era. I would love to see what it looks like on the inside but that’s not going to happen.

Photographed with a Nikon D7100, 24MP DSLR and 18-55 mm lens @ 26 mm (35 mm equiv = 39 mm).
