Millers Pond State Park, Durham CT
Cheryl and I took a hike around Millers Pond in Durham CT. What a quiet little spot in the middle of the woods. One end has a very small sandy area that I guess they call a beach. Then around the park there are two or three “boulders”, for lack of a better word, that are located on the water’s edge lending themselves to sunbathing and fishing. All in all, however, there was almost no one there on the Sunday afternoon that we went. The attached photo’s show the pond itself and various points along the path we took for our hike. Scoville Reservoice – Wolcott CT
Woodtick “Scoville” Reservoir Scoville Road Wolcott CT On June 9th of 2022 Cheryl and I decided to head over to the Woodtick Reservoir, known to locals as the “Scoville” Reservoicr. I had seen images of the reservoir area on the internet and saw some photo opp’s that I wanted to take advantage of. It was a beautiful sunny Summers day, approx. 85 degrees with limited humidity. The reservoice is approx. 120 acres large and is surrounded by tall, well established trees, that have been there forever.
