Permaquid Lighthouse, ME
Cheryl and I had targeted the Permaquid Lighthouse in New Harbor ME as a must shot for us. Upon arriving, in early September, we were quick to confirm that we certainly were not disappointed. This was perhaps one of the most serene peaceful and beautiful locations that we had ever photographed. Unfortunately my image doesn’t pay justice to what you really feel when you’re here. Pelican Cove, ME
During our early September stay in Maine Cheryl and I visited the quaint coastal town of Ogunquit, (pop. approx. 1600), which is home to Perkins Cove. This was just a quick drive from York Maine where our hotel was. We walked around Perkins Cove specifically as this cove was surrounded by water on three sides and was a small, quaint little paradise. It was full of unique boutiques, locally made merchandise and a couple of nice restaurants. Not to mention all the boating. Nubble Lighthouse, York ME
Cape Neddick Nubble Lighthouse Sohier Park, York Beach York, ME 03909 PH: (207) 363-1040 June of 2021 Cheryl and I decided to drive up to York Maine for the purpose of photographing the Cape Neddick Nubble Lighthouse. Known to locals as simply “the Nubble” lighthouse. It was an absolutely beautfiul June day upon arrival replete with family’s, couples, singles and a fair amount of scuba divers on shore ready to jump in. It was moderately crowded but we managed to get, what seemed like, the last available parking slot.
