    Barn – Middlefield CT

[wzslider height=”800″ lightbox=”true”] While traveling through Middlefield CT as a field sales rep. I happened by this working farm on my way to an account.  I fortunately had my equipment with me and quickly pulled over to take this photograph. The family dog ensured that I did not set foot on the property as he delivered a rather convincing growl. I simply framed the shot, while momentarily parked on the side of the road, while in the drivers seat of my car. Photographed with Nikon D7100, 18-55mm lens, 1/100 sec; f/16; ISO 100.

    Cornwall CT farm at sunset.

[wzslider height=”510″ lightbox=”true”]This is a farm called “Local Farm” in the scenic hillside of Cornwall CT. Photographed with a Sony Nex 7, 24MP, mirorless camera and a Sony 10-18, F4, OSS lens at 18mm. I had the pleasure of being accompanied by my wife Cheryl for this photo journey.  This was beautiful country side and the “Local Farm” was a nice payoff! 1/125th, f/10, ISO 100

    Skyline Farm, Columbia CT

[wzslider height=”510″ lightbox=”true”]Skyline Farm 470 Middletown Road (Rte 66), Columbia, CT. From what I can see this is kind of an iconic barn in this area and for good reason. It has a majestic look and a beautiful design. It is situated right by the side of Rt.66. Nikon D7100, 18-55 @ 18mm. 1/125, f/11, ISO 200

    Historic Barn, Coventry CT

[wzslider height=”600″ lightbox=”true”] Aaron Strong Museum 2382 South St. Coventry, CT 06238 Carpenters shop or carriage shed (c.1730) built by Aaron Strong, maternal great-uncle of Nathan Hale (I’m not sure which as the museum was closed when I went by).  Nathan Hale’s house is a mile or less down the road. In front of this “barn” sits the original home which is also a museum open to the public.  Call for hours. I did alter the “grounds” that the barn sat on in photoshop for artistic value. Nikon D7100, 18.0-55.0 mm f/3.5-5.6 @ 18.0 mm.
