Hammonasset State Park
On a beautiful day in May I decided to stop at Hammonasset State Park (Beach) and take a walk around. Fall and early spring are always my favorite times at the beach because there is no one there except for the occasional walker and I have the entire place to myself. Spoken like a true introvert eh? I would have taken more images but I was pressed for time. The building you see if where there sell concessions once the beach opens up for summer but at this time it was closed. All images photographed with a Sony A7RV, at the 26mp resolution setting, and a Sony 24-70 GMII lens.

[wzslider autoplay=”true” height=”800″ info=”true” lightbox=”true”]Rocky Neck State Park, 244 West Main Street (Route 156), East Lyme, CT. PH: (860) 739-5471 Hi gang! I’m soooo behind on posting this vast collection of visits/pictures I’ve acquired. I really enjoy going to the beach in the middle of winter to take my photographs rather than summer. Yes I know it seems odd but here’s the thing. It’s completely empty. When I’m photographing landscapes the emptier the better. So during this visit I had the entire park to myself…
