    Beautiful Barns in Suffield, CT

[wzslider autoplay=”true” interval=”6000″ height=”900″ lightbox=”true”]I thought the snow played nicely with the overall appeal of these photo’s.  Frankly I couldn’t tell if these barns are in use or not.  The large old “cow barn” is the most beautiful barn I’d ever seen.  I suspect it’s been re-purposed but to what end I don’t know.  It’s maintained beautifully and makes quite a statement.  I couldn’t resist capturing this photograph in Suffield in north/central CT not far from the MA border. Taken with my Fuji Finepix F100fd 12mp pocket camera.

Iconic Barn (American Flag) -Roxbury, CT

Many photographers throughout CT and surrounding area’s have made the trek over to Roxbury, CT for the purposes of photographing this very unusual and eye-catching “iconic” barn on the property of the Greyledge Farm. So…

    Local Farm – Cornwall, CT

[wzslider autoplay=”true” height=”800″ info=”true” lightbox=”true”] Cheryl and I were taking a drive through Litchfield County in CT which is known for it’s rolling hills and country landscapes. We happened by a farm named “Local Farm” where we took the two photo’s shown above. This is an interesting place. It used to be a raw milk dairy. Now they hold workshops on the proper care of cows. Read more about “Local Farm” here. This farm was loated on a side street, which sees almost no traffic, in the beautiful countryside of Cornwall.  If you want to lower your blood pressure a ride through Litchfield County usually works, especially in the fall.

    Driving through Litchfield County CT

[wzslider height=”800″ info=”true” lightbox=”true”]Cheryl and I were on our way to the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association museum and had the pleasure of driving through beautiful Litchfield County.  Although we’ve lived in CT most of our lives this part of the state never gets old to us. Because we were on our way somewhere I didn’t want to delay the trip too much by stopping over and over for photo’s.  However as a photographer I see light and images everywhere I go whether I’m working or playing.  Hence the need to always have a camera by my side. I had to pull over as my eyes gazed upon the majesty of…
