While “barn hunting” in Deep River CT the Olson’s covered bridge (private property) presented a beautiful site on manicured acres of property.  A nice winding road led up to the bridge allowing access to the other side of a small creek which fed into a pond.  As this was private property I was forced to put a long lens on the camera and take my images from the road side.  I understand that in the winter they put a beautiful wreath on the side of the bridge, which when snow covered, makes for a gorgeous wintry shot.  You can rest assured I will be back when the snow flies.

Photographed with a Sony Nex 7, 24.3 MP mirrorless camera and a Sony 18-55 lens at varying focal lengths.

1/400th, f4.5, ISO 100, Shutter Priority (to ensure a fast shutter speed due to the long lens being that it was hand held)
