An image of a Colorfast, vintage 2021, bottle of wine and glass. The image was photographed in a studio setting using (3) lights, some with red/blue colored output.

This background was created from 8.5 x 11.00″ white paper sheets which were folded into the shapes you see and attached together. They were lit from one side with a red/blue LED diffused light. The paper was enlarged “stretched” in photoshop so they would fill the background.

The wine bottle was shot twice. Once lit from behind with a red gel’d light and once from in front with a 5600k clear light. This rendered the label exactly as it would appear on the bottle. I then “exposure blended” just the label onto the bottle. This allowed the image to be of the same light and coloring without affecting the label. The bottle/label was shot with a Sony A7RV, 61 mp, mirrorless camera in APS-C mode rendering a 26mp image. I used a Sony e-mount APS-C 50mm f1.8 lens to photograph the bottles.

I used a Sony A7RII, 42mp, mirrorless camera and a Sony 90mm, f2.8 G OSS MACRO lens to photograph the paper folds of the background. Once again the bottle, background and label were exposure blended in photoshop.
