    Sunset at Osborndale State Park, Derby CT

    Cheryl and I had never been to Osborndale State Park in Derby before so we decided to give it a go. It was a cold winters day and very few people were there. We parked in the designated parking area and it was a one minute walk to the pond. We were hoping to see ducks and geese but nothing.     Beautiful setting in Roxbury CT

    After a long afternoon of shooting barns the sun was setting nicely for Cheryl and I. If you look past the tall silo you can see that the landscape goes on as far as the eye can see.     Beautifully maintained barn in Newtown CT

    As I was barn searching along South Main St. on the outskirts of Newtown CT I was struck by the stellar condition of this very old barn.  The property owners had maintained this in such a manner that it is not only gorgeous but will last for many more years to come. As I was across the street taking shots of the barn I caught the attention of the Lady of the house.  She approached me wondering what I was up to.
