Lavender Pond Farm, Killingworth CT
318 Roast Meat Hill Rd, Killingworth, CT 06419 Cheryl and I stopped at this beautiful Lavender Farm recently in the countryside of Killingworth CT. They grow lavender to infuse in many of their products that they sell in their country store which is on the property. The serenity of the farm made it all worth while. It was so peaceful, and the staff was polite and accommodating. The kids and family can even go aboard the “Lavender Express” and have a nice slow train ride around the property. Abandoned Aggregate Plant, Hartford CT
[wzslider autoplay=”true” interval=”7000″ height=”800″ lightbox=”true”]I often would see this abandoned aggregate facility off in the distrance as I drove southbound on I-91 into Hartford. One day I decided to make a point of stopping by. Crazy as it sounds this is the kind of “abandoned” photograhy I really enjoy.
