Abandoned mill, Woonsocket RI
Molly, (my dog), and I were driving around Woonsocket RI with camera in hand looking for a picture of an abandoned building. We only had about a half an hour of free time before we had to be somewhere so when we stumbled upon this old abandoned factory I took the picture. In my research I couldn’t actually ascertain what business was in here. I presume because this area was rich in textile mills that this was probably one of them. Abandoned Daniels Mill, Rockvill CT in 2013.
Danoiels Mill 98 E. Main St. Rockville CT There are (3) images shown, which were taken back in 2013. One of the images I took from East Main St. looking towards the Mill. Ashton Mill – Cumberland, RI
[wzslider height=”800″ info=”true” lightbox=”true”]ASHTON MILL 51 Front Street Cumberland, RI 02864 The attached photo’s represent what is a refurbished mid nineteenth century factory currently serving as upscale apartments. Notes about the slideshow (the images are not in any particular order): 1) Blackstone River adjacent to the factory with canal (not shown) down stream. 2) Foot bridge built in recent times to resemble original bridge constructed in early 1800’s. 3) Large bridge is Rt. 116 4) Large brick building is the factory 5)…
