    Southbury CT Barn

This is a composite photograph of three images:  Barn and lawn were photographed in Southbury CT on 01/05/17 with a Nikon D7100 and Nikon 18-55.  1/200th, f11, ISO 200.  Pond, tree’s and surrounding foliage were photographed on the property of Lyman Orchards in Middlefield CT on 10/22/12 with a  Sony Nex 7 and Sony 18-55.  1/100th, f11, ISO100. Fence – info not recorded. I created the composite, for artistic reasons,  because the setting where the barn was photographed was a winters day in January and there were no leaves on the tree’s and all the foliage was dormant.

Photographed with a Sony Nex 7, 24MP, mirorless camera and a Sony 10-18, F4, OSS lens at 18mm. I had the pleasure of being accompanied by my wife Cheryl for this photo journey.  This was beautiful country side and the “Local Farm” was a nice payoff! 1/125th, f/10, ISO 100

There are many, many types of camera’s available today.  This post is not intended to go there.  It’s simply a generalization, intended for the newer or potential photographer to evaluate the “common” camera’s used. When I left professional photography about (7) years ago I was so burnt out I coudn’t even look at a camera.  For at least…
