    Auer Farm, Bloomfield CT

Auer Farm 158 Auer Farm Rd. Bloomfield, CT 06002. Open seven days a week from 7 AM to 7 PM Myself, Cheryl and Molly took a ride out to the Auer Farm to see if we could get a decent picture of the barn as well as a little frolic time for Molloy to investigate the goats and donkeys etc. When we arrived there was a large birthday party for “Jacob” that saw guests pretty much occupying what was once the farms cow barn. Lavender Pond Farm, Killingworth CT

318 Roast Meat Hill Rd, Killingworth, CT 06419 Cheryl and I stopped at this beautiful Lavender Farm recently in the countryside of Killingworth CT. They grow lavender to infuse in many of their products that they sell in their country store which is on the property. The serenity of the farm made it all worth while. It was so peaceful, and the staff was polite and accommodating. The kids and family can even go aboard the “Lavender Express” and have a nice slow train ride around the property. If you plan on having picnic on the property bring your own food as they don’t sell food there. The pond is…
