    The Consolidated Cigar Company in Glastonbury, CT *I, along with my wife Cheryl and our dog Molly, photographed what remains of the Consolidated Cigar Company and tobacco fields on Hubbard St. in Glastonbury CT. Below is a brief summary of it’s history and future. The Consolidated Cigar Company was established int he early 1900s in Glastonbury, CT. It quickly grew to become of the towns largest employers and taxpayers. At its peak, the company owned up to 1900 acres of tobacco fields in town.
