    Bridge of Flowers – Shelburne Falls, MA

    [wzslider autoplay=”true” interval=”6000″ height=”800″ info=”true” lightbox=”true”]Bridge of Flowers is a tourist attraction in Western MA which connects the towns of Shelburne Falls (pop. 1700) with Buckland (pop. 1900) while spanning the Deerfield River. It was originally built in 1908 as a trolley line to transport people and goods to the mills (7) miles away.  It does carry a major water main between the two towns that’s still in use today. It’s multiple arches offer considerable aesthetic appeal as they anchor this 400′ x 18′ bridge to the waters below.
