    Providence RI skyline from Prospect Park

    Prospect Terrence Park Congdon St, Providence, RI 02906 Prospect Terrence Park situated on a hill, just north of Brown University overlooks downtown Providence. This park lends itself well to skyline shots. Attached are (2) skyline shots, (1) shot of Rhode Island Capitol building and a picture of a JUMP BIKE leaning against the outside fence of Prospect Park.     [wzslider height=”800″ info=”true” lightbox=”true”] Founded in 1636 by Roger Williams the City of Providence, RI once known as “the beehive of industry” has shifted gears to become “the creative capitol”. This is due to the decline of manufacturing and the growth of education and arts. Providence is also home to (8) hospitals and (7) institutions of higher learning which includes Brown University. With a population of 178,000 it ranks as the 37th largest city in the nation. On a personal note I’ve always enjoyed working and visiting Providence. The City has a comfortable feeling. Although, on the one hand large, it still retains that “town” feel much in the way…
