Abandoned Silo in Oxford
I was travelling through Oxford CT with Cheryl and our dog Molloy when we came upon this cool old abandoned Silo. There was an industrial park built all around it which is not really visible from the picture. In fact I was standing on the property of a company while taking these pictures. This seems to be all that remains of what was once a working farm. Photographed with a Sony Nex 7,APS-C 24.3 mp mirrorless camera and a Sony 18-55 lens at 18mm (APS-C equiv. = 27mm). Handheld 1/20th, f11, ISO 100, APERTURE PRIORITY

Pristine horse barn – Oxford CT
Cheryl and I were taking back roads in the Oxford/Southbury area and stumbled upon this beautiful barn. It appears to be fairly new construction. A peek in the front door reveals a couple of horse stalls. There were also some horses in the pasture which is not seen in the image. Photographed with a Sony 61mp mirrorless camera and a Sony 24-70 F2.8 GMII lens at 37mm. 1/60th, F11, ISO 64 Aperture Priority, Focus Stacked.

Richs Farm, Oxford CT
Rich Farm Ice Cream 691 Oxford Road (Rt 67) Oxford, Connecticut 06478 When Cheryl and I pulled the car along the side of Rt 67 to photograph this absolutely gorgeous barn it started raining. I rolled down the drivers side window and was able to squeeze off two shots but it was raining to hard that I had to close the window and call it a day. Fortunately when I got home I was glad to see that I got a decent shot.
