    Barn in Avon CT

Cheryl and I stumbled upon this barn while barn hunting in Avon CT in December of 2018. Except for some minor damage on the cupola it has been maintained well with, what appears to be, a recent quote of exterior paint. Photographed with: Nikon D7100, Nikon 18-55 lens @ 40 mm (60mm = 35mm equiv.) 1/400th, f8, ISO 200, Aperture Priority

Hop River State Park Trail Bridge, Andover CT

In 2012 this beautiful foot bridge was installed to complete a major gap in the rails to trails walkway which runs from Manchester to Willimantic through Hop River State Park spanning Rt. 316 below. Before the bridge was in place most folks were forced to stop and turn around as there was no easy way to get to the other side. Not any more. PLEASE NOTE:  This image was digitally altered in the area the ground under the bridge for artistic quality. Photographed with Nikon D7100 and 18-55 zoom lens.
