Beautifully maintained barn in Newtown CT
As I was barn searching along South Main St. on the outskirts of Newtown CT I was struck by the stellar condition of this very old barn. The property owners had maintained this in such a manner that it is not only gorgeous but will last for many more years to come. Barn on Whitmore Rd., Middlebury CT
This was another barn on our list for Cheryl and I today in the town of Middlebury CT. It’s situated on Whitmore Rd. with it’s “modern” looking garage door entrance. I suspect that the owners park their cars in there and needed a working automated garage door. However, it’s the garage door that gives this barn an unusual look. All in all it has a nice appearance tucked away amongst the surrounding foliage. Beautiful barn setting in Bethlehem CT
Cheryl and I caught an absolutely beautiful and warm October day while we set out to track down our list of barns in Bethlehem CT. Knowing that winter was right around the corner we wanted to capture as many barns as we could before the snow flew and the cold weather set in. The barn is untouched but honestly the land it sat on didn’t make for the best image. So I took artistic license and photoshpped the barn/silo into another scene. Photographed with a Nikon D7100, 24 MP camera and a Nikon 18-55 lens at 38 mm. (35mm equiv.=57mm) 1/250th, f13, ISO 100 Aperture Priority
