    The Heron – my first bird picture.

I took my first bird picture today, strictly by accident.  I was at Lyman’s Orchards in Middlefield, CT with Cheryl and we took a walk over to the duck pond.  I had no desire to take any photo’s of the hundreds of ducks that were there (everyone feeds them from the rear porch).     Lyman’s Orchards – Middlefield, CT

    [wzslider height=”800″ info=”true” lightbox=”true”] I stopped by Lyman’s Fields in Durham, CT during the 3rd week of October for the express purpose of getting some good pumpkin pictures.  My instincts didn’t disappoint! New England is indeed one of the best places to be during the fall months. The leaves take on a variety of brilliant colors. The hillsides come alive. The air seems crisp and clean. Eventually pumpkins are seen everywhere.
