One with the land in Harwinton CT
Not sure if this would be classified as a barn or a storage shed but either way I was struck by it’s beautiful appearance. Tucked into a small hill and adorned with ivy it was unusual and had eye appeal. Harwinton CT is its home. Photographed with a Sony A7RII, 42MP full framed mirrorless camera and a Sony 24-105 F4 lens at 46mm. ISO 500, 1/640th, f11, Aperture Priority

Ivy crawling up the sides of this barn…………..
Cheryl kept the car running while I took a quick shot of this old red barn in the Monroe CT area. The ivy crawling up the side of the barn gives it a nice look as it sits in the middle of the field. After this we headed out to view the other barns on our list but didn’t have a lot of luck today. We were able to photograph one other barn in Monroe but that’s a pretty small catch for us. Photographed with a Sony A7RII 42.4 MP full frame mirrorless camera and a Sony 24-105 F4 lens @ 53 mm. 1/200th, f16, ISO 800, Aperture Priority

I’m glad that it, at least, has not been torn down (yet?). There is still a story her to be told and, as far as I’m concerned, these old barns have charm until they can’t stand any longer. This barn was one of a handful on Orchard Rd. in Berlin CT. Photographed with Nikon D7100 and a Nikon 18-55 lens at 40mm / 60mm equiv in 35. 1/160th, F11, ISO 100 A Two shots were taken: One of the…
