This is their 10th year holding this charity. During this week you’re able to stroll through winding paths of over (14) acres of sunflowers. Enjoying their beauty and taking photographs. For a $10.00 donation, (to benefit the charity), you’ll leave with a bouquet of sunflowers. Typically just a few day’s after the event they’ll let the cow’s into the fields to eat the sunflowers so try and get here during that week. The date may change from year…

Old man winter has arrived!
Winter is upon us. The day’s are short and nights are cold. All of us in CT have been blessed with a very warm start to winter during December but come January I’m sure temperatures will return to normal. This photo is of a local horse farm in Hamden, CT. Photo taken with Nikon D7100 and 15-88 zoom lens.
