Auer Farm 158 Auer Farm Rd. Bloomfield, CT 06002. Open seven days a week from 7 AM to 7 PM Myself, Cheryl and Molly took a ride out to the Auer Farm to see if we could get a decent picture of the barn as well as a little frolic time for Molloy to investigate the goats and donkeys etc. When we arrived there was a large birthday party for “Jacob” that saw guests pretty much occupying what was once the farms cow barn. A Return visit to Brooksvale (Park) Farm….more pics.
Brooksvale Park Farm, 524 Brooksvale Ave, Hamden, CT 06518 Cheryl and I initially visited these barns/farm to take this picture: The Barn at Brooksvale Park – Journey Thru My Lens (journeysthrumylens.com) . I returned a couple of weeks later and spent some time walking around the farm taking more images. I believe these barns were constructed by the Brooks family in the 1700’s. It’s very peaceful out here at the park and I would think would make a nice visit for families with small children mainly because of the animals.
