Old Mill Pond Village Shops 383 Salmon Brook St. Granby, CT 06035 (860) 653-3433 I stumbled upon this place by accident while in the neighborhood photographing the Old New-Gate Prison. This particular day it had been closed so I had the entire grounds to myself to take some photographs. The Old Mill Pond Village offers top brand furniture to knick knacks for the house and everything in between. Really seems like an interesting place to take in. All images photographed with a Sony A7RV, 61mp, mirrorless full frame camera. A Sony 10-20 mm f.4 and a Sony 24-70 F2.8 lens were used.

Vintage Books – Shakespeares Complete Works, c.1915
Shakespeares Complete Works, 10 volume, published by McKay c. 1915 This volume of books was published about 109 years ago and, in my opinion, was worthy of a photograph. Because the covers and bindings were fraying so badly with considerable signs of deterioration I wanted to make sure that I captured that detail in my images. To do so I took (4) separate images of the books and bookends allowing me to get quite close with the 85mm lens. I then stiched them together in photoshop ultimately rendering a 16 x 9 image.
