Drowning in ivy…………Berlin CT
This beautiful old barn is slowly becoming one with nature as foliage overcomes it. I would think it’s a pretty fair assumption that this barn has been put out to pasture. I’m glad that it, at least, has not been torn down (yet?). There is still a story her to be told and, as far as I’m concerned, these old barns have charm until they can’t stand any longer. Snow capped Southington CT barn
I vaguely remember that this beautiful old barn was somewhere in “central” Southington CT. By that I mean it was not on the outskirts of town in the wooded area but rather in a more downtown residential area. The barn itself was only about 15′ from the road.
