Creating art with a slinky.
The shot was created in studio using a multi-colored plastic slinky. The budding flower was added in post process. Photographed with a Sony A7RV, 61mp, mirrorless camera and a Sony 90mm MACRO f2.8 G OSS lens. 2.5 seconds, f11, ISO 100, MANUAL MODE, lens attached ring light at 5600K.

Swirling Abstract
I was simply trying to create art using a 12″ long kitchen whisk in which the steel was coated with red rubber. To me this has kind of an outer space look but the beauty of abstract art is that it takes on whatever meaning you interpret it as. I set up the shot in my studio in a pitch dark room using a black background. The whisk was illuminated with an on camera flash then the red swirls were light painted by hand with a small torch and a red slip on filter over the end. Jason D. Flourescent Light – Abstract Macro
This shot began with a standard fluorescent light bult as seen in the “before” shot. This was photographed in my studio using three lights with various colored gels to give the results shown. Opposites attract
[wzslider height=”800″ info=”true” lightbox=”true”] I wanted to do an abstract photograph that metaphorically speaks to the theme “opposites attract”. This is what I came up with.
