Miniature Truck in a Big World

For this shot I photographed a 6″ metal diecast model of a 1940 Ford Pickup truck that I bought new for $23.00 at a flea market. I video taped it on a 360 deg. turnstile and also shot still photography images. I then inserted the tabletop shot of the truck into a previous picture of a tobacco barn that I had taken. I did add the signage on the side of the truck from an image I found on google images (garageartsigns.com). The barn is located somewhere in north central CT which is rich in tobacco barns. I didn’t record where the picture was taken. Settings for the diecast model…

Old Mill Pond Village Shops, Granby CT

Old Mill Pond Village Shops 383 Salmon Brook St. Granby, CT 06035 (860) 653-3433 I stumbled upon this place by accident while in the neighborhood photographing the Old New-Gate Prison. This particular day it had been closed so I had the entire grounds to myself to take some photographs. The Old Mill Pond Village offers top brand furniture to knick knacks for the house and everything in between. Really seems like an interesting place to take in. All images photographed with a Sony A7RV, 61mp, mirrorless full frame camera. A Sony 10-20 mm f.4 and a Sony 24-70 F2.8 lens were used.

Horses Grazing at The Butterfly Farm, Lincoln RI

The Butterfly Farm 667 Great Rd., (Rte. 123) Lincoln, RI 02865 While in Lincoln RI I spotted this beautiful farm scene that I had photographed years ago. However, this time it had two horses grazing in the field. In addition the sky was warm and the fence in the foreground had an interested break. These are the kinds of scenes I relish and look for. There is a lot going on at the Butterfly Farm. Hammonasset State Park

On a beautiful day in May I decided to stop at Hammonasset State Park (Beach) and take a walk around. Fall and early spring are always my favorite times at the beach because there is no one there except for the occasional walker and I have the entire place to myself. Spoken like a true introvert eh? I would have taken more images but I was pressed for time. The building you see if where there sell concessions once the beach opens up for summer but at this time it was closed. All images photographed with a Sony A7RV, at the 26mp resolution setting, and a Sony 24-70 GMII lens.
