    The Webb Barn, Whethersfield CT

[wzslider height=”600″ lightbox=”true”]The Webb Barn is located in the historical section of Wethersfield CT. Built circa 1840 the barn has had additions since that time. I’m told by the caretakers that local wood from nearby structures was used for the additions to help maintain the originality. Present day the barn is part of the Webb-Deane-Stevens museum and is also rented out for various venues including weddings and receptions. Weir Farm, old building, Wilton CT

[wzslider height=”600″ lightbox=”true”]Photographed on the grounds of Weir Farm in Litchfield County CT. Once an artists colony it’s now a federal park.  The layout has been modified slightly in photoshop to accentuate the surroundings.  Because it’s the back of the building I can’t remember if it was a barn or a house or what?  Either way it’s old and it’s attractive to me. Kitty in the window.

[wzslider height=”600″ lightbox=”true”] While driving through Holyoke MA I spotted an old abandoned building in an industrial area that was covered in foilage. Upon closer examination I could see a cat peering out the window. Photographed with Sony Nex 7, 24MP, mirrorless camera and E 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens at 29mm (35mm = 43mm).
