When driving through the town of Hebron CT on RT 66 be on the loooking for this painted Eagle on a piece of outrock adjacent to the road.  It’s actually between Stonehouse and Buck Roads near #516 Rt. 66.

The rock has been painted since 1989 and has become a sort of landmark.  It’s my understanding that the town embraces the artistry and that periodically town’s people will touch it up.

When I took this photo I was happy to see a number of American Flags in the foreground.

Photographed with Nikon D7100, Nikon 18-55 mm lens @ 55 mm.
