BLIZZARD of 2013

On February 9th, 2013 our town in central Connecticut saw at least 38 inches of snow fall within 24 hours. Thanks to the town plow we had at least 4.5′ at the end of the driveway for a depth of about 6′ before it began to taper off to a mere 38-40 inches.

Neighbors were helping neighbors. It brought people together for a common cause.  At the end of the day that was a good thing.

Spring is coming soon!

  1. I am pretty sure that I drove by these guys shoveling a roof on Highland Avenue in Cheshire and wishing that I had a camera with me. That was a great week for photo opps and I regret that I didn’t take advantage of it.
